The NYPD and the Times Square Business Improvement District (TS-BID) report that traffic on West 42nd Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue will probably be disrupted beginning at 5 PM on March 20 due to the opening of Applebee’s restaurant. Numerous celebrities are expected to attend the grand opening festivities on West 42nd between Broadway and Eighth. Traffic patterns in the area are expected to be disrupted during the dinner hour and theatre rush.
Theatre patrons may wish to adjust their travel schedules accordingly.
