When Fox put out the call for Rentheads to submit their own renditions of "Seasons of Love" for a new music video, they summoned some familiar faces who did not disappoint in belting out about all those minutes and moments so dear.
Check out the video above, in which pop superstar Ariana Grande and her brother Frankie J. Grande—both Broadway alums—sing the beloved Jonathan Larson tune. Frankie, who recently appeared on the New York stage in Titanique and Cruel Intentions, shared the collaboration on YouTube, also partnering with Ben Gettinger, Jon-Erik Goldberg, and Dominic Crossey.
Rent heads to Fox January 27, 2019, in a live broadcast starring Jordan Fisher, Vanessa Hudgens, Brandon Victor Dixon, RuPaul's Drag Race's Valentina, and more. The Greatest Showman favoriteKeala Settle will lend her voice to the solo in "Seasons of Love."
To coincide with the live event, fans have the opportunity to be a part of the festivities by sending in their own performances of "Seasons of Love" for a music video to be released next year. Submissions will be accepted through December 14.
Some Broadway shows have gotten in on the action as well. Check out their tributes to the Tony- and Pulitzer-winning musical in the videos below.
