News Arnie Burton and Carson Elrod Cast in Off-Broadway Premiere of David Ives' Lives of the Saints; John Rando Directs Complete casting has been announced for the world-premiere production of Lives of the Saints, a collection of short plays by David Ives (Venus in Fur, All in the Timing).

Performances will begin Feb. 3, 2015, prior to an official opening Feb. 24 and continue through March 27 at Primary Stages at The Duke on 42nd Street.

John Rando will direct a cast that includes Arnie Burton (Peter and the Starcatcher, The 39 Steps), Carson Elrod (All in the Timing, The Explorers Club), Rick Holmes (The Threepenny Opera, Peter and the Starcatcher), Kelly Hutchinson (Desire Under the Elms, Don Peyote) and Liv Rooth (All in the Timing, Venus in Fur).

"Lives of the Saints marks our seventh production of David Ives' work," Primary Stages artistic director Andrew Leynse said in a statement. "This collection of short plays, including three new pieces, is a mixture of humor, intellect, and farce and is a transformative step in Mr. Ives' mastery of the one-act form. We are thrilled to be working again with David and his long-time collaborator, director John Rando."

The production will feature scenic design by Beowulf Boritt, costume design by Anita Yavich, lighting design by Jason Lyons, sound design and original music by John Gromada, wig design by Tom Watson and casting by Calleri Casting.
