The show, which according to press notes is "a one-night only blow-out concert celebrating everyone's favorite badass b*tch, alt-cabaret priestess," will take place April 9 at Stage 48. The full line-up will be announced shortly.
Everett began performing with Ars Nova over a decade ago. The Off-Broadway theatre's artistic director Jason Eagan, has said in a press statement that from the moment he saw her, he was "enamored by her incredible voice and even more incredible ability to physically touch everyone in the bar in inappropriate places.”
Critics lavished praise on Everett's recent show, Rock Bottom, which played two engagements at the Public Theater.
Her film and television credits include "Inside Amy Schumer," "Two Broke Girls," "Sex and the City" and the upcoming Judd Apatow-produced film "Trainwreck."
Proceeds from the concert will benefit Ars Nova. Stage 48 is located at 605 West 48th St. Tickets are available at arsnovanyc.com or by calling (212) 489-9800.
