News Artios Casting Awards to Honor Whoopi Goldberg, Dick Wolf and Meg Liberman Sister Act producer and original film star Whoopi Goldberg, "Law & Order" creator Dick Wolf and veteran casting director Meg Liberman will be honored during the 27th Annual Artios Awards in New York and Los Angeles.

The Artios Awards, which recognize achievements in casting for theatre, film and television, are presented in simultaneous Sept. 26 ceremonies in New York (at District 36) and Los Angeles (The Beverly Hilton Hotel).

Academy Award winner Goldberg will be honored in New York with the Apple Award, while the Los Angeles component will honor Wolf with the Career Achievement Award and Liberman with the Hoyt Bowers Award.
