As previously reported, Tony Award-winning Urinetown director John Rando will stage David Ives' adaptation of the Feydeau farce that will run on the Williamstown main stage July 30-Aug. 10. Joining Pittu (Is He Dead?), Ashmanskas (Fame Becomes Me) and Hewitt (Rocky Horror Show) will be Mia Barron (Coast of Utopia), Jeremy Beck (Betrayed), MacIntyre Dixon (Gypsy), Carson Elrod (Reckless), Mark Harelik (Light in the Piazza), Tom McGowan (Ivanov), Kathryn Meisle (Most Fabulous Story Ever Told), Geoffrey Murphy, Heidi Neidermeyer, Debra Jo Rupp (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof) and Sarah Turner.
"In A Flea in Her Ear," press notes state, "sexy mistresses and dashing suitors abound in this sensual and satirical romp through 1900's Paris. When an anonymous letter provokes a hilarious chain of mistaken identities, seductive trickery runs hysterically amuck, and the sultry, shadowed rooms of a scandalous Parisian hotel will never be quite the same."
Designing the production are Alexander Dodge (set design), Gregory Gale (costume design), Rui Rita (lighting design), John Gromada (original score and sound design), Stephen Gabis (dialect coach) and Rick Sordelet (fight director).
Tickets for the Williamstown run can be purchased online at www.wtfestival.org or by calling (413) 597-3400.
