News A.S.K. Seeks Applicants for Playwright-Composer Workshop A.S.K. Theatre Projects is currently accepting applications from playwrights and composers for participation in the 4th annual Playwright-Composer Studio. This two-week intensive workshop brings professional playwrights, composers and performers together to explore the process of collaboration and the basic elements of music theatre. Composers and writers working in a variety of styles are sought. No previous music-theatre experience is required. The Studio was created and is directed by Ben Krywosz, artistic director of the Nautilus Music-Theatre in Minneapolis, who leads similar workshops all over the country.

A.S.K. Theatre Projects is currently accepting applications from playwrights and composers for participation in the 4th annual Playwright-Composer Studio. This two-week intensive workshop brings professional playwrights, composers and performers together to explore the process of collaboration and the basic elements of music theatre. Composers and writers working in a variety of styles are sought. No previous music-theatre experience is required. The Studio was created and is directed by Ben Krywosz, artistic director of the Nautilus Music-Theatre in Minneapolis, who leads similar workshops all over the country.The workshop will take place Feb. 13-26, 2000, with both daytime and evening sessions. Tuition is free and participants will be awarded a $500 honorarium. All playright and composer applications must be received by Nov. 16, 1999. (Performer auditions will take place in early January).
