News Assassins' Baker to Be Part of Free Skin Deep Reading Becky Ann Baker, who played Sara Jane Moore in the revival of Stephen Sondheim's Assassins, will appear in a free reading of Jon Lonoff's Skin Deep March 13.

The 7:30 PM reading of Lonoff's comedy will be held at the National Comedy Theater on West 36th Street. Presented by Algonquin Productions, the reading will also feature the talents of Sherry Shrinker, Jed Dickson and Jim Ligon. Skin Deep, according to press notes, concerns "a large, lovable, lonely-heart who gets more romance than she bargained for, when she agrees to a blind-date finagled by her well-married, cosmetically-enhanced sister."

Becky Ann Baker has been seen on Broadway in Assassins, Titanic, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas and the City Center Encores! mounting of Wonderful Town. Her Off-Broadway credits include Othello, Two Gentlemen of Verona, The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told, Shanghai Moon, June Moon and Durang, Durang.
