Fugard (The Road to Mecca, "Master Harold"… and the Boys, Blood Knot), Jones (Fences, The Great White Hope, The Best Man) and Martins (Song and Dance, On Your Toes) receive honorary doctor of fine arts degrees.

Also honored are singer Wilson and musicologist William Christie with honorary doctor of music degrees; and Steven Naifeh and Gregory White Smith, Pulitzer Prize-winning authors of "Van Gogh: The Life, and Jackson Pollack: An American Saga," with honorary doctor of humane letters degrees.

Juilliard president Joseph W. Polisi will read special citations and present the degrees. The ceremony is streamed live at http://www.juilliard.edu/live.

Fugard also delivers the commencement address at 11 AM in Alice Tully Hall, where Juilliard presents 274 (127 undergraduate and 147 graduate) degrees to its actors, dancers, playwrights, and jazz, opera and classical instrumental musicians.
