Atlantic Theater Company has announced that the final production of its 2016-17 season will be the world premiere of Olivier Award winner Derren Brown’s new show, Derren Brown: Secret, written by Brown, Andy Nyman, and Andrew O'Connor, with direction by O'Connor and Nyman.

Brown, an acclaimed British performer and author whose shows have played sold-out runs on the West End, will make his American theatrical debut with the premiere of Secret. The show will draw on Brown’s signature blend of mind control, suggestion, showmanship, and illusion.

“This spellbinding theatrical experience challenges us—in the most jaw-dropping way—to take a closer look at the stories and beliefs that guide our lives,“ read production notes from the Atlantic Theater Company.

Derren Brown: Secret will begin previews April 21, ahead of an official opening May 16. The limited Off-Broadway engagement is scheduled to play through June 4 at Atlantic Theater Company’s Linda Gross Theater, located at 336 West 20th Street, New York.

Atlantic advises that Secret is not suitable for children under 12.

Tickets can be purchased online at atlantictheater.org/passport, by calling OvationTix at (866) 811-4111, or in person at the Linda Gross Theater box office.
