News Atlantic Theater Company Kicks Off Amplified Series With Free Reading of Gun Logistics Today Gun Logistics, a romantic comedy by Max Posner, is presented by the Atlantic Theater Company as part of the the Amplified reading series Nov. 4 at 2 PM.

The reading, which is held at the Linda Gross Theatre, features actors Paul Thureen and Birgit Huppuch. Oliver Butler directs.

"He's driving north to see her. She's driving north to see him. They're on their cell phones," press notes state. "She's turning around now. They're speeding up. They're in love. They're in love? A disquieting, intimate comedy about the ways in which we fail to articulate and dare to attach."

The reading series will also include Nannyland by Radha Blank, The Oregon Trail by Bekah Brunstetter, #therevolution by Kristoffer Diaz, Light by Meghan Kennedy and The Royal Society of Antarctica by Mat Smart.

The Amplified reading series was curated by Abigail Katz, director of new play development. The series features an expanded rehearsal process for six plays, offering meaningful engagement with the material and the playwright.

Atlantic has also initiated its new Launch Commissioning Program, with playwrights Dennis A. Allen II and Amy E. Witting. The program offers commissions to early career playwrights who have not yet had an Off-Broadway production and have fewer than three commissions from mid-to-large size theatre companies.
