Plans are still tentative, but the American Theatre Wing is scheduled to hold a benefit luncheon honoring Bernard Gersten and Andre Bishop, April 24, at New York's Plaza Hotel. Both men have been instrumental in rebuilding Lincoln Center as a major theatre venue, Gersten as producer, Bishop as artistic director. The latter honed his skills serving as artistic director of Off-Broadway's Playwrights Horizons.
