An audience member is reportedly suing Sleep No More, the acclaimed immersive show based on Shakespeare’s Macbeth.

According to the New York Post, Kerry Miller, 37, was watching a fight scene when she was kicked in the head by an actor and knocked unconscious. She reportedly underwent medical treatment and is filing a lawsuit for unspecified damages.

“The team at Sleep No More uses every precaution to ensure the safety of its audience, as it has for years,” Rick Miramontez, a spokesperson for the show, told Playbill.com.

Created by Punchdrunk, Sleep No More takes place in Manhattan’s McKittrick Hotel. Audience members wear masks and are free to move freely throughout the venue’s numerous levels, choosing where to go and what to see. The show has been running Off-Broadway since 2011.
