The silver lining to the cast housecleaning at Les Miserables comes Nov. 19-21 when chorus calls for cast replacements will be held in New York.

Auditions are scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 19-21 at the Equity Audition Center at 165 West 46th Street, 2nd Floor.

But competition is expected to be unusually stiff. According to casting director Geoffrey Johnson of Johnson-Liff Casting these auditions are almost completely full. Only AEA Members and Equity Eligible performers will be seen. Johnson said that if you are non-Equity or non-Eligible "you could wait around forever, you just won't be seen."

He was quick to point out that this applies to this round of auditions only, and that there will be subsequent chorus auditions for the Broadway company as well as the road company, yet to be scheduled. He recommends that actors send their picture and resume to:
