News Audra McDonald Announces Initial Concert Dates for 2017 The six-time Tony-winning actor will offer performances in Florida, Oklahoma, New York, and more.

Six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald, most recently on Broadway in the new musical Shuffle Along, will offer concerts, several with husband Will Swenson, throughout the country in 2017.

McDonald's current itinerary, according to her official website, follows:
January 27, 2017: Audra McDonald with Will Swenson at the Hoffman Theatre in Walnut Creek, CA
January 28: An Evening with Audra McDonald at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts in Scottsdale, AZ (with special guest Will Swenson, featuring Seth Rudetsky as pianist and host)
February 5: An Afternoon with Audra McDonald at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY
February 11: New World Symphony Gala with the New World Symphony at the New World Center in Miami, FL
March 12: Audra McDonald in Concert at the Jacoby Symphony Hall in Jacksonville, FL
April 2: Audra McDonald in Concert at the OCCC Visual & Performing Arts Center Theater in Oklahoma City, OK

McDonald has won a record six Tony Awards (most recently for her portrayal of Billie Holiday in Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill), two Grammy Awards, and an Emmy Award. Among her numerous honors, McDonald was recently recognized for her contribution to the fields of arts and humanities by receiving the National Medal of Arts, presented by President Barack Obama in September.
