The California theatre company, TheatreWorks, will host a one-night-only concert featuring three-time Tony winner Audra McDonald on June 30 at 7:30 PM. McDonald will perform her concert at TheatreWorks' 620-seat Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, which is located on Castro and Mercer Streets in San Francisco. Tickets, ranging from $75 (concert only) to $150 (concert and post-performance reception with McDonald), are available by calling (650) 903-6000.

McDonald earned Tony Awards for her work in Carousel, Master Class and Ragtime and earned another Tony nomination for her performance in the title role of Marie Christine. She starred in last year's concert version of Dreamgirls, which was recently released on Nonesuch Records, and the actress/singer will make her solo Carnegie Hall concert debut on Nov. 2. McDonald has also starred in several television productions, including TV movies of "Annie" and "Wit"; the latter brought the actress her first Emmy nomination. McDonald's solo recordings, "Way Back to Paradise" and "How Glory Goes," are also available from Nonesuch.

TheatreWorks, which is the San Francisco Peninsula's professional theatre company, is now in its 33rd year. Their upcoming season includes productions of Smokey Joe's Cafe, Ragtime, Be Aggressive, The Syringa Tree, On Golden Pond, Book of Days, The Legacy Codes and Jane Eyre.
