The California theatre company, TheatreWorks, will host a one-night-only concert featuring three-time Tony winner Audra McDonald on June 30 at 7:30 PM. McDonald will perform her concert at TheatreWorks' 620-seat Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, which is located on Castro and Mercer Streets in San Francisco. Tickets, ranging from $75 (concert only) to $150 (concert and post-performance reception with McDonald), are available by calling (650) 903-6000.
McDonald earned Tony Awards for her work in Carousel, Master Class and Ragtime and earned another Tony nomination for her performance in the title role of Marie Christine. McDonald has also starred in several television productions, including TV movies of "Annie" and "Wit"; the latter brought the actress her first Emmy nomination. McDonald's solo recordings, "Way Back to Paradise" and "How Glory Goes," are also available from Nonesuch.
