Classic Arts News   Author/Classical Guitarist Glenn Kurtz to Appear July 23 at Lincoln Triangle Barnes & Noble

Glenn Kurtz, author of Practicing: A Musician's Return to Music, will read from and talk about his book on Monday, July 23 at 7 p.m. at the Lincoln Triangle branch of Barnes & Noble, at Broadway and West 65th St. in Manhattan.

Practicing is the memoir of how Kurtz, a one-time classical guitar prodigy, gave up the instrument at age 25 — and subsequently rediscovered the call of music. Following Kurtz's talk will be a performance by guitarist Nadav Lev, a winner of the Andres Segovia Award.

The event is free and open to the public.
