The Connector, a new play written by Tim Murray that was seen at Theatre for the New City in 2012, will have a staged reading starring Avenue Q's Darren Bluestone next month in New York City.

Directed by Timothy Koch (assistant director for Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, The Cripple of Inishmaan, The Heiress), The Connector will star Murray (50 Shades! The Musical) as Levi, Mike Millan (Piece of My Heart) as Fun, Trey Gerrald ("Orange is the New Black") as Change, Bluestone (Avenue Q) as Henry and Tom McVey (The Awesome 80s Prom) as Perfection.

The Connector, according to press notes, "is a story about a boy who has perfected the game of being well liked and how hard it is to turn the game off."

Performances will be held Nov. 2 at 3 PM and 6 PM at Ripley-Grier Studios. For reservations, email Tim.Murray044@gmail.com.
