Johnny and the Sprites Live — A Spofulous Broadway Concert, will be presented Feb. 3 at Town Hall on West 43rd Street. Show time is 5 PM. The evening — directed and choreographed by Donna Drake — will feature Tartaglia and the Sprites performing a mix of songs and stories. Audiences can expect to see Sprites (puppets) Ginger, Basil, Lily and Root, who will "be on hand to sing, dance, and celebrate in a most 'spofulous' way," according to press notes. Spofulous, it should be noted, is a Sprite term that means fabulous.

Following the BC/EFA fundraiser, Tartaglia and his Sprite friends will be on hand to sign autographs and take pictures.

Tartaglia made his Broadway debut in Avenue Q (earning a Tony Award nomination for his work) and returned to Broadway to play Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast. He has also appeared on stage in concert versions of Children of Eden and Hair as well as Carnival for City Center Encores!

The live-action "Johnny and the Sprites" — seen on the Disney Channel — is set in "a beautiful, enchanted world of whimsy where Johnny and his friends, the Sprites: Ginger, Basil, Lily and Root, sing, have fun and learn valuable life lessons about getting along together, solving problems and respecting the world around them," according to show notes.

Town Hall is located in Manhattan at 123 West 43rd Street.
