News Award-Winning Save Me Will Play Barrow Group Studio Theatre; Casting Announced The Barrow Group Acting Studio will present the New York premiere of Stefanie Zadravec's Save Me, which was named Best New Play at the Baltimore Playwrights Festival, Jan. 18-Feb. 10 at The Barrow Group Studio Theatre.

Directed by Lee Brock, co-artistic director of The Barrow Group, the cast will feature Christina Denzinger, Chloe Levine, Porter Pickard and Alyson Schacherer.

The comic drama, according to press notes, "centers on Beth, who comes to New York to save her estranged sister, and discovers how to save her daughter and herself. The play delivers its miracles in odd packages."

Set design is by Eric Paeper.

A long-time Barrow Group actor/writer, Stephanie Zadravec is a resident playwright at New Dramatists and a 2012-2013 Playwright Fellow at the Lark Play Development Center. She received a Helen Hayes Award for Best New Play or Musical in 2009 for her play Honey Brown Eyes. Her work has been developed by The Kennedy Center, The Women’s Project, PlayPenn, Theatre J. and The Working Theatre, among others.
