Off-Off-Broadway's Axis Company must have felt the need to come up with something special to follow its fall show, the New York premiere of English dramatist Sarah Kane's Crave, starring Deborah Harry. So, beginning Feb. 15, the Off-Off-Broadway multi-media troupe presented not one, not two, but fully six new works. The evening is titled, yes, 6

Of course, they were not all be produced at once. The plays in question are short, and presented in two cycles of three plays each. Each cycle enjoyed a two-week run. The first trio of one-acts ended its stay back on March 3, but the second is still around for a few days: it concludes March 24. Cycle two includes:

• Welcome Houdini, written and directed by Randy Sharp
• Zipper Sheet by Jyllian Gunther, directed by Will Pomerantz
• Life Game by Chris Swift, directed by Daniella Topol
