News Ayers, Reid, Navarro, Cannizzaro, Gertner and Marcos Set for NYMF's Lines South Pacific's Becca Ayers and Curtains' Joe Aaron Reid will appear in the NYMF presentation of the song cycle Lines.

Running Sept. 30-Oct. 3 at the Barrow Group Theatre, Lines will be directed by Maurice Brandon Curry with musical direction by J. Oconer Navarro.

In addition to Ayers and Reid, the cast will also include Oconer Navarro (The Adding Machine), Thomas Cannizzaro (Spamalot), Jared Gertner (Spelling Bee) and J. Elaine Marcos (A Chorus Line).

The production features a cast of actors who present twelve different stories, examining "straight lines, curved lines, body lines, blood lines. Lines of fire, lines of communication. Lines we sometimes shouldn't cross and lines we always should," according to press notes.

Timothy Huang (The View From Here) has penned music and lyrics for Lines that incorporates rock, contemporary theatre and R&B styles.
