Canadian actor and rap artist Baba Brinkman will offer four performances of The Rap Guide to Evolution next month in Manhattan.

The acclaimed, award-winning production will be seen at 45 Bleecker (45 Bleecker Street at Lafayette Street) May 4 at 4 PM, May 6 at 4 PM, May 7 at 8 PM and May 8 at 7 PM. Developed with the support of the British Council, The Rap Guide to Evolution was featured in summer 2009 at the Cambridge Darwin Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe, where it won the Scotsman Fringe First Award for Best New Theatre Writing.

Tickets are $22.50 with student tickets for $15 and are available on or by calling (212) 239-6200. Original music from the show can be found online at
