PlayBlog Backstage at the Music Box Theatre With Broadway's Jerusalem (Video) Jerusalem, directed by Ian Rickson, officially opened on Broadway April 21 at the Music Box Theatre and will conclude its extended limited engagement Aug. 21.

The three-hour drama opened at the Royal Court Theatre in 2009 where it played an extended sold-out run, before moving to the Apollo Theatre in the West End in January 2010. Since then, the production transferred to Broadway, won the Tony Award for Leading Actor in a Play (Mark Rylance) and will soon make its way back to London, beginning performances Oct. 8 at the Apollo.

Here, cast members Sarah Moyle, Charlotte Mills and Frances Mercanti-Anthony offer a glimpse into the backstage action at the Music Box and discuss their Broadway run. Moyle and Mills, original cast members of the Royal Court and West End company, share their favorite New York City experiences and talk about what they are looking forward to upon the production's return to the West End.

Jerusalem is set in the woods of southwest England where "Johnny 'Rooster' Byron, former daredevil motorcyclist and modern-day Pied Piper, is a wanted man. The council officials want to serve him an eviction notice, his son wants to be taken to the country fair, a stepfather wants to give him a serious kicking and a motley crew of friends wants his ample supply of drugs and alcohol."
