It was Broadway composer Frank Wildhorn's brainchild: bring pop musicians to musical theatre and see what they'll do with it in a staged concert at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom. That was back in November, but March 4, Bravo is ready to air the special evening, entitled "Broadway's Best from Bravo." Between numbers, the performers will reminisce about their own Broadway and performing experiences. Teen pop songstress (and budding actress) Mandy Moore, for example, talks about her 6th grade Guys and Dolls, which not only inspired her to sing "Adelaide's Lament" for the concert, but also addicted her to performing.

Bacon, John Leguizamo, Harvey Fierstein and Paul Rudd host the event. Lauper opens the concert with "There's No Business Like Show Business." Pascal sings "Pinball Wizard," "What You Own" (with Daphne Rubin-Vega) and "Suddenly Seymour" (with Moore), while Yearwood does "What I Did for Love" and "Someone to Watch Over Me." Eder performs "I Don't Know How to Love Him" and "Don't Rain on My Parade."

Other numbers include:

"Luck Be a Lady," Darius Rucker
"Summertime," Jill Scott and George Benson
"On Broadway," Benson
"Easy to Be Hard," Bacon Brothers
"Not While I'm Around," Joan Osborne
"Do You Love Me" Shawn Colvin, Fierstein
"I Feel Pretty," Jamie-Lynn Sigler
"More I Cannot Wish You" and "Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat," Loudon Wainwright
"Try to Remember," Colvin
"Not a Day Goes By/Time Heals Everything," Osborne, Colvin, Rucker The cast of Contact also performs. There will be a grande finale with entire group coming together on "Give My Regards to Broadway."

"Broadway's Best from Bravo" will air at 8 PM EST on March 4. Check local listings for times in your area. A special encore performance will air March 9 at 11 PM EST.
