Liz Diamond directs the comedy-drama, which began previews at 59E59 Theaters Jan. 26. The limited run is currently scheduled to play through March 6. Happy Now? centers on "a chance encounter at a hotel that plays upon Kitty's mind as she struggles to balance personal freedom with family life, fidelity and a demanding job," according to Primary Stages. "Her husband is more interested in misplaced apostrophes than in their marriage, her parents are looking down the barrel of oblivion, and although she toys with the idea of joining a gym, Kitty's running out of time for big changes."

Bacon (Broadway's Rock 'n' Roll, Off-Broadway's The Eccentricities of a Nightingale) plays the central character in a cast that features Kate Arrington (The Well-Appointed Room), Kelly AuCoin (Julius Caesar), Brian Keane (Cyrano de Bergerac), Joan MacIntosh (Orpheus Descending), Quentin Maré (Rock 'n' Roll) and CJ Wilson (Festen).

Happy Now? debuted in London at the National Theatre in 2008 and played its American debut at Yale Repertory Theatre. AuCoin, Bacon, Keane, MacIntosh and Maré appeared in the Yale run.

The Off-Broadway creative team includes Narelle Sissons (set), Jen Moeller (costumes), Matt Frey (lighting) and David Budries (sound). The production stage manager is Matthew Melchiorre.
