The show is created and performed by operatic tenor Chris Cain and baritone Adelmo Guidarelli, who call themselves the "bad boys of opera." Mike Wills directs. Chris & Adelmo follows the pair "as they musically slapstick their way from the cafes of Paris to the hills of Arkansas and don Yankee uniforms and perform Gilbert & Sullivan in this hilarious evening of classically-styled comedy," according to a release.
The show plays Dec. 12, 19 and 26 with a gala on Dec. 31, and also Jan. 2-6, at Saint Peter’s Theatre on 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue. For tickets, priced $30, call (212) 935-5820 or visit www.yorktheatre.org.
