News Banderas and Griffith Honored by Drama League, Feb. 9 Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith, the husband and wife Hollywood actors who appeared simultaneously on Broadway in 2003, will be honored by the Drama League on Feb. 9.

The couple will be feted at The Drama League's 19th Annual Musical Celebration of Broadway gala at The Pierre Hotel in Manhattan. Jerry Orbach is the honorary chair. The musical tribute will feature performers Chita Rivera, Christine Ebersole, Brent Barrett, Karen Ziemba, Priscilla Lopez and Daphne Rubin Vega and others. Tickets are priced $500 to $2,500 depending upon location and all contributions in excess of $150 are tax-deductible. For more information, call Amy Dinnerman at (212) 244-9494, ext 5.

Banderas was nominated for a Tony Award for his performance as Guido in the 2003 Broadway revival of Nine. During part of his run in that show, Griffith headlined the Broadway revival of Chicago.
