News "Barbara Cook: No One Is Alone" Due in Stores in May Barbara Cook's tenth recording on the DRG Records label is scheduled to arrive in stores in May.

DRG president Hugh Fordin confirmed to Playbill.com that "Barbara Cook: No One Is Alone" is scheduled for a May 10 release. The 13-track studio recording will feature tunes that Cook recently performed at Carnegie Hall. The celebrated singing actress will be accompanied on piano by musical director Eric Stern.

Barbara Cook has starred on Broadway in Flahooley, Candide, The Gay Life, The Music Man and She Loves Me. She received a Best Featured Actress in a Musical Tony Award for her performance in The Music Man, and her one-woman show, Mostly Sondheim, was nominated for a Tony in the Best Special Theatrical Event category. Cook was most recently on the New York stage in Barbara Cook's Broadway. Both Mostly Sondheim and Barbara Cook's Broadway were recorded for DRG. Cook made her solo debut at the Metropolitan Opera, which was also released on DRG Records.

Cook will celebrate her 80th birthday with the New York Philharmonic. That evening of song is scheduled for Nov. 19.
