News Barbara Cook TV Appearances to Be Released on DVD Early television appearances made by stage veteran Barbara Cook have been compiled for a new DVD to be released in September.

Cook's appearances on "The Bell Telephone Hour" will be available on "Barbara Cook: Bell Telephone Hour Appearances 1960-1965." The new DVD will be released by Video Artists International on Sept. 27, although pre-orders are currently being accepted at amazon.com. Barbara Cook has starred on Broadway in Flahooley, Candide, The Gay Life, The Music Man and She Loves Me. She received a Best Featured Actress in a Musical Tony Award for her performance in The Music Man, and her one-woman show, Mostly Sondheim, was nominated for a Tony in the Best Special Theatrical Event category. Cook was most recently on the New York stage in Barbara Cook's Broadway. Both Mostly Sondheim and Barbara Cook's Broadway were also recorded for DRG.

"Barbara Cook: Bell Telephone Hour Appearances 1960-1965" has a list price of $29.95; the pre-order price is $20.97.
