Playwright Jenny Lyn Bader receives the premiere of three of her short works as part of the Reader's Theater Feb. 26. The plays — written for the play reading series — are all set in Barnes and Noble and will be presented at the Lincoln Center Barnes and Noble Bookstore in New York City for free.

One Night at Your Local Superstore, Book Party and The Love Detectives comprise the three plays that will premiere at the event. The first is set at a book signing, the second at a book release party and the last in the B&N Café.

The cast of the readings includes James Hay, Laura Marks, Michael Shawn Montgomery and Danielle Skraastad. Hilary Adams directs the Works Productions presentation.

New York City scribe Bader has various plays under her belt that have been seen at the Humana Festival, Soho Rep and the New Group. Also an accomplished essayist, her non-fiction work has oft been seen in The New York Times.

The free readings take place at the Barnes and Noble at Lincoln Center, 1972 Broadway (at 66th Street) at 7PM. — by Ernio Hernandez
