News Barrett and Mason Offer Evening of Song Nov. 22 and 23 Two of Broadway's finest — Brent Barrett and Karen Mason — will team up for two concerts at the Osher Marin JCC this fall.

On Nov. 22 (at 8 PM) and Nov. 23 (5 PM), Barrett and Mason will offer tunes from the worlds of musical theatre and cabaret at the San Rafael JCC. The concerts will be in the Center's Hoytt Theatre. Brent Barrett is currently portraying slick lawyer Billy Flynn in the hit Chicago revival at the Ambassador Theatre. The singer-actor received an Olivier Award nomination for his role in the London company of Kiss Me, Kate, and his other theatrical credits include the Broadway productions of Annie Get Your Gun and Candide. Barrett received a Los Angeles Drama Critics Award for his work in the L.A. production of Chicago and has been seen Off-Broadway in Closer Than Ever, March of the Falsettos, The Death of Von Richtofen, The Time of the Cuckoo and Portrait of Jenny. His television and film appearances include "Hercules," "Longtime Companion," "All My Children," "Another World" and "Guiding Light."

Karen Mason starred as Tanya in the hit musical Mamma Mia! at the Winter Garden Theatre. She also received much praise for her performance as Norma Desmond in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard, where she was standby for Glenn Close, Betty Buckley and Elaine Paige. Mason's other Broadway credits include Jerome Robbins' Broadway and Torch Song Trilogy. She appeared in the Off Broadway revue And the World Goes 'Round, and she is one of the top draws on the cabaret scene. Her solo recordings are numerous and include "When the Sun Comes Out," "Not So Simply Broadway" and the aforementioned "Christmas! Christmas! Christmas!"
