The annual fundraising gala of the Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor, Long Island, held July 10, brought in over $500,000, breaking all past records for the event. As in past years, Rosie O'Donnell hosted.

The annual fundraising gala of the Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor, Long Island, held July 10, brought in over $500,000, breaking all past records for the event. As in past years, Rosie O'Donnell hosted. The evening's auction alone raised approximately $200,000. Among the items on the block were jewelry from Harry Winston; a Caribbean cruise; vacations to Ireland, St. Barts and the Dominican Republic; Super Bowl tickets; a walk-on in the musical Saturday Night Fever; and Sag Harbor resident Elaine Steinbeck's personal copy of her husband's "Sweet Tuesday."

Guests at the event included Betty Comden, Julie Andrews, Alan Alda and Billy Joel.

Bay Street's current production is Frank McGuinness' The Factory Girls, running through Aug. 1.
