Tony-winning director Jack Hofsiss (The Elephant Man) will stage Bay Street's first main stage production of the summer season, running June 2-28. Bell, Book and Candle will officially open June 6.
Bareikis ("Grey's Anatomy") will star as Gillian Holyroyd alongside Matt McGrath (Cabaret, Streetcar Named Desire) as Nick Holyroyd, in a cast that also features Tony nominee Sam Robards (39 Steps, The Man Who Had All the Luck) as Shepherd Henderson, Gordana Rashovich (Master Class) as Mrs. Holyroyd and Jarlath Conroy (On the Waterfront) as Sidney Redlitch.
Bell, Book & Candle, according to Bay Street, "is set in Manhattan's east side, where a witch thinks her buttoned-down neighbor is perfectly fine but can't stand his fiancé. She decides to use magic to stop her neighbor from marrying, until she is confronted with an unexpected twist."
Bell, Book and Candle will have set design by Gary Hygom, costume design by Toni Leslie-James, lighting design by Paul Miller and sound design by Jill B.C. DuBoff.
Tickets can be purchased by calling (631) 725-9500 or by visiting BayStreet.
