Denise Van Outen, who starred in the revised version of Lloyd Webber's Tell Me On a Sunday, hosted that Aug. 19 concert, which included songs from shows Lloyd Webber had written as well as those he has produced. Concertgoers heard tunes from Bombay Dreams, Whistle Down the Wind, The Beautiful Game, Tell Me On a Sunday, The Woman in White, Evita, The Sound of Music and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Among those who performed were Joseph's Lee Mead and Sound of Music's Connie Fisher as well as Stephen Gately, Preeya Kalidas, Raza Jaffrey, Elena Roger, Dean Collinson, Aoife Mullholland, Lorna Want and Duncan James.
BBC Radio 2 is broadcasting the concert as part of its Friday Night Is Music Night series. The broadcast is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM London time.
