News BBC-TV Offers Stoppard Interview and Royal Shakespeare Company Discussion

BBC4 television will be broadcasting an interview with Tom Stoppard (Tom Stoppard: a Talk Show Special) on Saturday, Sept. 7 from 8:30 to 9:20 PM, in which he discusses his work with Joan Bakewell.

The following day, from 11:40 PM to 12:10 AM, Richard Brooks (of the Sunday Times) will discuss, in Trouble at the RSC, the company's recent problems.

The Royal Shakespeare Company is not all doom and gloom of course — they had a hit with Much Ado About Nothing and have just opened at the Haymarket (Sept. 5) with Antony and Cleopatra, starring Sinead Cusack and Stuart Wilson.
