Can’t get tickets for the Tony Awards ceremony June 11? The next best thing may be Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS’ Tony viewing party, scheduled for that evening at Feinstein’s/54 Below club in New York.
Tony Award winner Cady Huffman (The Will Rogers Follies, The Producers) will host and perform at the club, located just blocks from Radio City Music Hall where the Tony ceremony will be taking place. Attendees will watch the Tonys alongside fellow Broadway fans on widescreen TV monitors.
Doors will open at 6:30 PM and the the party will continue through hors d’oeuvres, dinner, the broadcast, and into a post-show celebration, with an open bar throughout. There will also be a special Tony Awards pool and the opportunity to win a pair of tickets to the 2017 nominated show of your choice.
Tickets, which range from $250 for a single to $15,000 for a six-seat banquette, can be ordered at Broadwaycares.org/tonyawards. The event is a fundraiser for BC/EFA, which also hosts the annual Easter Bonnet, Gypsy of the Year, Broadway Bares, etc.
