Soho Theatre Company transfers Amanda Whittington's Be My Baby from the heart of the West End to Greenwich Theatre.
This is a drama that shows the darker underside of the Swinging Sixties and concerns the story of 19-year-old Mary Adams, polite, sweet, and several months pregnant. The year is 1964, and though it may be the year of the Beatles, it's a year of very personal challenges for Adams, including the future of her baby in a society that frowns on the sexual freedoms that are increasingly taken for granted in the media.
