News   Beauty's Ferrall to Join Broadway's Mamma Mia! Oct. 25 Gina Ferrall, most recently seen on Broadway as Madame de la Grande Bouche in Beauty and the Beast, will join the New York company of Mamma Mia! Oct. 25.

Ferrall will become the latest actress to play Rosie, the role originated on Broadway by Tony Award winner Judy Kaye. The part is currently played by Lori Haley, who recently succeeded Olga Merediz.

Oct. 25 will also mark the arrival of two other new co-stars when Pearce Bunting and Michael Mastro assume the roles of, respectively, Bill Austin and Harry Bright.

Mamma Mia!, which is celebrating its fifth anniversary on Broadway, also features Carolee Carmello as Donna Sheridan, Judy McLane as Tanya and David McDonald as Sam Carmichael with Carey Anderson (Sophie Sheridan), Andy Kelso (Sky), Ben Gettinger (Pepper), Samantha Eggers (Lisa), Veronica J. Kuehn (Ali) and Raymond J. Lee (Eddie).

Gina Ferrall has been seen on Broadway in Beauty and the Beast, Big River, Jane Eyre, The Sound of Music, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and Les Misérables. Her other theatrical credits include Candide, the City Center Encores! production of The Pajama Game, Sail Away at Carnegie Hall and The Castleat Off-Broadway.

Mamma Mia! employs the hit songs of famed pop group ABBA to tell the story of Sophie Sheridan, a young girl who hopes to discover the identity of her father. On the eve of her wedding, she brings three men from her mother Donna's past back to the Greek island they visited over two decades ago. Mamma Mia! features music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, a book by Catherine Johnson, direction by Phyllida Lloyd and choreography by Anthony Van Laast. The musical plays the Winter Garden Theatre, which is located in New York City at 1634 Broadway.
