NORTHRIDGE, CA -- The San Quentin Drama Workshop will present its award-winning production of Beckett's Women at the Cal State University Northridge Little Theatre, Feb. 13 and 14 at 8 PM.

Sponsored by the CSUN Department of Theatre, the program comprises three short plays: Come and Go, Eh Joe and Footfalls by the Nobel Prize-winning playwright Samuel Beckett.

San Quentin Drama Workshop was Beckett's English-language company of choice. He directed three plays for the workshop which, after touring internationally, were filmed under the auspices of the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Smithsonian, the University of Maryland Visual Press and the French government under the umbrella title Beckett Directs Beckett.

This production of Beckett's Women recently received two Drama-Logue Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Theatre -- for direction and performance.

Jennifer Rebecca Bailey, Mary Dryden and Nora Masterson are featured in Come and Go; Rick Cluchey stars in Eh Joe; and Bailey and Masterson are featured in Footfalls. The plays are directed by Cluchey and R.S. Bailey and are produced and designed by the San Quentin Drama Workshop.
