The Royal Court's reputation for staging innovative new work will be confirmed with the London premiere, Jan. 15, of Enda Walsh's Bedbound.
Walsh's previous work includes the award-winning Disco Pigs as well as Sucking Dublin, The Ginger Ale Boy and Misterman.
The play is set in a small bed, where a father and daughter talk incessantly, but not in a constructive or communicative way: both parties would rather sleep but feel they cannot.
Bedbound has been seen and praised by critics at the Dublin and Edinburgh festivals last year.
