The 9:30 PM concert, entitled FLOPZ, will celebrate "great songs from egregiously overlooked musicals." Produced and directed by Jamie McGonnigal, the evening will feature musical direction by Michael Lavine. Among those scheduled to lend their voices to songs from "some of Broadway's most notorious blunders" are Shoshana Bean, Jenn Colella, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Sara Gettelfinger, Tyler Haynes, Cady Huffman, Natalie Joy Johnson and Jai Rodriguez.
The one-night-only event will benefit The Joey DiPaolo AIDS Foundation. A party at Joe's Pub will immediately follow the concert. Although there is no cover for the party, a portion of the bar tally will also be donated to the Foundation.
