Former United States President Warren G. Harding gets the "Behind the Music" treatment in Les Freres Corbusier's new play, President Harding Is a Rock Star, July 11-Aug. 3 at New York City's HERE Arts Center.

For a four-week engagement, NYC theater company Les Freres Corbusier envisions the life and presidency of the 29th president as a fallen rock star in this surrealist portrait of the former Ohio senator who became a dark horse presidential candidate. The rock and roll play features text and music by Kyle Jarrow and direction by Les Freres artistic director Alex Timbers. The MTV generation-aged cast includes Jacob Grigolia-Rosenbaum, Ryan Karels, Damian Long, Elizabeth Meriwether and Gerardo Rodriguez. Caesar Samayoa stars in the title role opposite Simone Zamore as his first lady.

President Harding is a Rock Star features the design team of David Evans Morris (set), Juliet Chia (lights) and Caroline Duncan (costumes).
