Big Ben of the New York Times will face the music on the Feb. 8 edition of PBS' popular "Theater Talk," as the broadsheet's chief theatre critic answers the questions of hosts Michael Riedel, of the New York Post, and Susan Haskins.
Brantley discusses his approach to being a critic and how he contends with his status as the most influential theatre reviewer in America.
The show airs Feb. 8 at midnight on Channel 13 in New York City. It will also air on Boston’s WGBH and on Cablevision’s Metro Arts Thirteen (check local listings for schedule).
"Theater Talk" is now in its fifth season. This year, the program will be seen on Thirteen/WNET, WGBH/Boston (PBS affiliate), CCIT in Hartford, and as part of MetroArts/Thirteen on Cablevision’s Metro channels.
Future "Theatre Talk" episodes will feature Shubert Organization chairman Gerald Schoenfeld (Feb. 15). For additional information on Theater Talk, visit their Website at www.theatertalk.playbill.com .
