The March 18 concert at The Green Room 42 will feature tunes from Contreras’ three recordings.

Ben Fankhauser (Newsies), Bradley Gibson (The Lion King), Natalie Weiss (Everyday Rapture), and Zach Adkins (Anastasia) will celebrate Joey Contreras’ new album, Joyride, March 18 at The Green Room 42.

Favorites from Contreras’ previous albums, Love Me, Love Me Not and Young Kind of Love, will also be featured.

The 7 PM concert will also include performances by John Cardoza (Jagged Little Pill), Anthony Norman (The Prom), Oyoyo Joi (The Book of Mormon), Leslie Hiatt (The Evolution of Mann), Josh Tolle (Kinky Boots), JJ Niemann (The Book of Mormon), Morgan Reilly, Stevi Incremona, Spencer Kiely, Jayson Speters, Mia Gerachis, and David Socolar.

Contreras is a 2018 Jonathan Larson Grant Finalist and an alumnus from the NYU Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program and the 2017 Johnny Mercer Songwriters Project. His new musicals Ring Around and Forget Me Not (with book writer-lyricist Kate Thomas) are currently in development.

Joyride will be available on all music streaming platforms March 22.
