News Ben Freeman, Louise Plowright, Sam Lupton and Lucy van Gasse Will Join West End Company of Wicked New cast members will join the London company of Wicked at London's Apollo Victoria beginning Oct. 29.

Ben Freeman (Fiyero), Louise Plowright (Madame Morrible), Sam Lupton (Boq), Hayley Gallivan (Standby Elphaba) and Lucy van Gasse (Standby Glinda) will all join the company, together with Katie Rowley Jones, who will return to star as Nessarose, the role she originated in 2006.

They join the previously announced Louise Dearman, who will re-join the cast to star as Elphaba, having played Glinda previously, as well as Gina Beck, Keith Bartlett and Christopher Howell, who will continue in their current starring roles as Glinda, The Wizard and Doctor Dillamond, respectively.

Also in the company are Florence Andrews, Gemma Atkins, William Bozier, Oliver Brenin, Lauren Brooke, Philip Catchpole, Aisling Duffy, Chlöe Hart, Jacqueline Hughes, Robert Jones, Sophie Linder Lee, Tania Mathurin, Marc McBride, Stacey McGuire, Tom Muggeridge, Sean Parkins, Michelle Pentecost, Stuart Ramsay, Lindsay Taylor, Paulo Teixeira, Justin Thomas, Hannah Toy, Matt Turner, Oliver Watton and Jason Winter.

Freeman is best known as Scott Windsor in TV's "Emmerdale," a character he played for almost 10 years from 1998. His stage roles include playing Warner Huntington III in Legally Blonde The Musical and Norman in Dreamboats and Petticoats (also on national tour).

Plowright created the role of Tanya in the original London production of Mamma Mia!, and subsequently went on to play the lead role of Donna for four years. Recent theatre roles have included Aunt Eller in Oklahoma! and Maggie Jones in 42nd Street, both at Chichester Festival Theatre, and Baroness Bomburst in the national tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Rowley Jones returns to the role of Nessarose that she originated in the first London cast of Wicked. She subsequently created the role of Sister Mary Roberts in Sister Act at the London Palladium.

Lupton has recently finished playing the lead roles of Princeton/Rod in the UK tour of Avenue Q. Gallivan (Standby Elphaba) played Martha in the original London cast of Spring Awakening and Olive Ostrovsky in The 25th Putnam County Spelling Bee at the Donmar Warehouse. Van Gasse most recently starred as Eileen opposite Connie Fisher in the national tour of Wonderful Town and has also covered and played the role of Christine Daaé in Love Never Dies in the West End.
