News Benefit Performance of Anna Christie, Featuring Angelica Torn, to Benefit Actors Fund A Feb. 7 performance of the recent Actors Studio production of Eugene O'Neill's Anna Christie, co-starring Angelica Torn and Con Horgan, will benefit The Actors Fund.

Tony nominee Wilson Milam directed the Actors Studio production, which played its final performance Jan. 30. The upcoming benefit, which will be held at 5 PM, will also feature Larry Block, David Dempsey, Timothy Doyle and Denise Lute.

"Somewhat controversial for its time," Anna Christie, according to press notes "is the story of a former prostitute who falls in love, but runs into difficulty in turning her life around."

The Actors Studio is located at 432 West 44th Street.  There is a suggested $50 donation for the benefit performance. For reservations/tickets, call (212) 757-0870, ext. 3.
