News Benefit Will Feature Golf with Peter Gallagher and Tennis with Norm Lewis The New Jersey event will benefit the Actors Fund's Lillian Booth Actors Home

The Actors Fund’s Annual Jock Duncan Celebri-TEE Golf & Tennis Outing will take place July 25 at the Knickerbocker Country Club in Tenafly, NJ.

Attendees will join Golf Chair Peter Gallagher and Tennis Chair Norm Lewis for summer sport to raise funds in support of The Actors Fund’s Lillian Booth Actors Home. The event, now in its sixth year, is named for The Actors Fund’s former treasurer Jock Duncan, who served as a trustee for 13 years.

Registration opens at 10:30 AM, followed by lunch and tee off at noon, tennis round robin at 2 PM, followed by a cocktail reception, charity auction, dinner and live performances. Robert Creighton (Cagney) and Ernie Sabella (Curtains, Man of La Mancha) are also scheduled to join guests for the day of golf with Gallagher and tennis with Lewis.

“I’m proud to continue this annual tradition,” said Gallagher in a statement. “It’s an honor to join our guests in giving back to The Actors Fund, an organization that provides so much care for our performing arts and entertainment community.”

“I’m looking forward to meeting new friends and raising funds for a good cause,” added Lewis. “It’s my way of supporting my colleagues in show business who make up this vibrant community of artists at The Actors Fund Home.
