News Benj Pasek and Justin Paul to Present Concert at London's Hippodrome Casino Oct. 21 Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the Tony-nominated composing team behind A Christmas Story and Off-Broadway's Dogfight, are to make their U.K. debuts in a concert at London's Macham Room at the Hippodrome Casino Oct. 21 at 11 PM.

A Christmas Story was seen on Broadway last year and is returning to the Theater at Madison Square Garden Dec. 11-29, following engagements in Hartford and Boston. Dogfight premiered at Off-Broadway's Second Stage Theatre in July 2012. As television songwriters, their original songs were featured on Season 2 of NBC’s "Smash." The duo made their debut as songwriters with their song cycle Edges, which has had hundreds of productions worldwide, including South Korea, Australia, China, South Africa, Singapore, France, the Philippines, Denmark and more. Other theatrical works include James & the Giant Peach, Duck for President and If You Give a Pig a Pancake. Other TV work includes "Sesame Street" and "Johnny and the Sprites." They are currently at work on a new original musical with playwright Steven Levenson and director Michael Greif. They were the recipients of the 2011 Richard Rodgers Award for Musical Theatre from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, a 2011 Sundance Institute Fellowship, the 2011 ASCAP Foundation’s Richard Rodgers New Horizons Award and the 2011 ASCAP Songwriters Fellowship Award.

As performers, they have traveled throughout North America, Europe and Australia performing concerts of their work. They also teach master classes in songwriting and theatre performance at universities around the world. They are graduates of the University of Michigan BFA Musical Theatre program and members of the Dramatists Guild of America.
