Brooke Berdis' one-act suburban thriller blitzkreig is continuing to thrill them at West Hollywood's Actors Circle Theatre, so the production will now extend through Aug. 25. The world premiere opened June 14 and was originally set to close July 29.

Arthur Mendoza directs blitzkreig, which begins with an innocent game of Pictionary. The two couples involved - typical middle-class suburbanites Paul and Maria and the white trashish Ron and Dina - have only met on the Internet and aren't prepared for who they really are. Violence ensues as the abusive, alcoholic Ron lashes out at his very loud, very pregnant wife and everyone else.

Berdis plays Dina with Doug Purdy as Ron. Stuart McKinney and Monica Garcia are Paul and Maria.

Tickets are $15. The Actors Circle Theatre is located at 7313 Santa Monica Boulevard. For reservations, call (818) 771-8100.
